iPharmaedge adheres to Datainspektionen’s guidelines and regulations for data confidentiality and integrity. The software has been designed to accommodate future requirements when Apotekens Service AB introduces the mandatory requirements of SITHS (Säker IT inom hälso- och sjukvård) [Secure IT in healthcare] and BIF (Bastjänster för informationsförsörjning) [Basic Services for Information Management].

iPharmaedge also provides a module for the pharmacy operator to perform a self-audit according to the Information Security standards SS-ISO/IEC 27001 (ISMS) and SS-ISO/IEC 27002 (Code of practice for Information Security Management). This periodic process helps the pharmacy operators to examine their management systems thereby maintaining the high level of data-security.

Impromptu’s solution incorporates access control using biometrics.

iPharmaedge includes all functionalities as required by Apotekens Service AB. It also includes other features like integration with EES.

Integration with other agencies and databases


Built-in features include integration with FASS, Läkemedelsverket, Pharmaceutical distributors and other healthcare agencies.

The primary component of this module is ‘Contacts Management’. This function allows you to record relationships and interactions with your customers. This information includes emails, documents, tasks, faxes, calendar etc.
